A Year of surpassing expectations2024 has been an extraordinary year for SOPHIA MAE, marked by achievements that have far exceeded our expectations and set the stage for even more exciting developments ahead. With a big smile, we look back on 2024 and its key moments:✓ We started the year with the launch of our very first magazine, which was exclusively available as a gift on SOPHIA MAE DAY in January.✓ Several new product launches, including two new eau de parfums, expanded our fragrance collection with unique and captivating scents. We also introduced ourfirst-ever makeup product, Blissful Blush, which quickly became a must-have for many.✓ Tremendously Tanned facial tanning mist was a standout product, making successful returns with a highly anticipated restock.✓ The Archive, where our beloved Members of The Muse Club had exclusive access to luxury items with minor imperfections at up to 70% off, was available twice throughout the year. Fun fact: we packed all the orders ourselves at the first Archive.✓ We expanded to a total of 45 retail locations, with new stores in Belgium and Ibiza, marking our international growth.✓ We’re grateful for successful collaborations with, among others, Vogue NL, , AndC Media, Talkies Media B.V., LINDA.meiden, and our ongoing partnership with MIND.✓ We welcomed new talents to our expanding team, for which we are truly grateful.✓ We celebrated the year’s achievements with a memorable team dinner at François Geurds, capping off an amazing year with delicious food, an unforgettable experience, and great company. We’re grateful to our team, our community, and our partners for making 2024 a truly remarkable year. With even more exciting ideas and launches on the horizon, we can’t wait to continue this journey with you.

Luxury brands break all the rules.(Most brands follow the trends and blend in.)That’s why luxury brands stand out.But how do they do it?Here are 3 strategies they use to dominate:1. Simplicity over complexity.Luxury brands focus on fewer elementsThey remove everything unnecessary.Because less speaks louder.2. Consistency is non-negotiable.You’ll never see a luxury brand going off-brand.Consistency builds trust and credibility.3. They create experiences, not products.Luxury isn’t just a purchase, it’s a feeling. They make every interaction memorable. So next time you're thinking of following trends…Remember, breaking the rules could be your brand’s secret weapon.------------P.S. EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Molton Brown’s Artists of Note initiative, which sees three British creatives interpret signature fragrances through their chosen medium, is so much more than a creative campaign. It signifies a major step-change for the beauty company in its ‘new brand world’ positioning and fragrance-first strategy. In turn, this is evolving how the brand “shows up” in travel retail, according toMark Johnson, President Cosmetics Business AEMEA, Kao, and Global President Molton Brown.TRBusiness met with Johnson during the 2024 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes to discuss the impact.“Artists of Note is not a campaign. It is, in essence, a brand relaunch – resetting the foundation of consumer perception and the way consumers experience the brand,” he told us. “Artists of Note is about challenging the real DNA of Molton Brown – who we are, what we are about and what is our point of differentiation – and how is that meaningful and relevant to a different and new consumer."Click to read the full exchange...#TRBusiness #travelretail #dutyfree

Here are 3 ways your brand can attract high-paying customers! 📈💰1️⃣ Luxury: Think of brands like Rolex. Luxury is about making you feel special and unique. It’s not about safety or necessity but about excitement and exclusivity. These brands thrive on uniqueness and don't conform to market trends or customer feedback.2️⃣ Fashion: Supreme knows how to be cool and trendy. This strategy is all about desirability and popularity. Fashion brands make you want their products because everyone else does. It's all about staying on top of trends.3️⃣ Premium: Apple excels at this. The premium strategy focuses on quality and value. These brands charge more because they offer superior quality. It's the "pay more, get more" approach, proving their worth through comparisons and benchmarking.________________________________________All three brands can charge high prices, but they each take a different approach.Luxury brands exist to inspire and excite, not solve everyday problems. Market research can dilute their uniqueness, so they focus on being different. Luxury boldly states, "This is what I am, and I'm worth it."If you want to build a luxury / premium brand for your business, then DM me "branding" for more info.#BrandStrategy#LuxuryBranding#FashionBranding#PremiumBranding #luxury #premium #branding #marketing

Because good things come to those who wait (and are willing to pay for it).Ready to slow down and watch your brand value speed up? Let's take the scenic route together. 🚶♂️ https://lnkd.in/gudq7KE9P.S. Great point! And +18% Net Sales #Growth in the last quarter proves that Mytheresa succeeded in something other luxury marketplaces failed at.✔ You are either luxury or you chase after every customer with discounts. You can't be both✔You are either selective and exclusive or you are everything store. This applies to both brands and customers.✔ The only job of a marketplace is to be the source of discovery. And this video is the best illustration of what luxury consumers want to discover...
